Calm Anxious Feelings Naturally

anxiety-cycleAlarming statistics suggest that 1 in 10 Americans are on an anti-depressant and in the UK that use has soared by 500% in the last 20 years.  If you go to the doctor and mention the stress in your life, or you’re feeling a little sad or blue, you will likely get a prescription for any number of anti-depressants on the market.

Many are learning the dangers of these drugs and finding themselves dependent on them with fears of going off.  Essential Oils can help deal with the anxious feelings and stress of everyday life, together with calming and comforting to aid in a good night’s sleep.

In this post, we will discuss these anxious feelings and how to deal with them.  We have so much of it around us that we need to learn ways to deal with it as stress will lead to ill health faster than anything.

One of the first we’ll look at is BASIL.

BASIL is considered The Oil of Renewal – The main moods that are treated with Basil are overwhelm fatigue, low energy and the inability to cope with life’s stressors. (Anyone need this?)

The smell of Basil helps bring strength to the heart and relaxation to the mind. It’s also excellent for nervousness, anxious feelings and depression.  Basil may strengthen the adrenals and restore the body to its natural rhythms of sleep, activity and rest.

It helps give hope and optimism to the tired soul and may assist in giving up stimulants or other substance related addictions.

Get yourself some Basil! Not only can you use it on your body, you can diffuse it, take it internally and cook with it!  I’m happy to answer any questions you have about how to use it each of these ways!
