Wow, I was just reviewing my site and realized I haven’t posted a darn thing since April! I must admit, I’ve been goofing off all summer. It’s the first summer I can think of in my adult life that I was able to take long spans of time off and travel.
We went to some amazing places this year. We visited South Dakota and all of the amazing sites in the area. Montana and Glacier National Park, Island Park, Idaho and Yellowstone National Park (this is a place near and dear to my heart and I do the best to visit at least one time per year).
Our family has had a funny tradition of seeking out bear sightings in those locations that there are bear. Sadly we had about 15 or better years that we never saw any. This year we were excited to see a momma Black Bear and her two cubs in Yellowstone together with a Grizzly sighting in Glacier. Can I just say “WOW!” Seeing a Grizzly in nature was one of the most amazing things I’ve ever seen (It looked just like the one in the photo) and Glacier was stunning!
So, you may be asking yourself what does this post have to do with the site? There’s a lot actually.
First, it was a summer that I was able to take some time away from “working” to work on my emotional wellness. A lot of time on the road traveling allowed me time for inner thinking and reflection. Being in nature has a real way of grounding you and helping you realize what exactly it is that you want and are seeking.
Since life never goes exactly as you plan, sometimes you gotta just roll with the punches and do your best to make sense out of the current situation(s). I’m dealing with some of that now too.
Summer is winding down and it’s very clear that I have to now buckle down and focus on my career choices, which are multifaceted and a combination of Essential Oil uses for physical and emotional wellness together with Emotion and Body Code work to help others live their best life full of love, laughter and lightness. And lastly, I continue to help those afflicted with Lyme as I was, so they may heal as well.
I’m really going to miss summer, but I’m so grateful to have had the experiences that I did this year!
We are on this earth for such a short amount of time that we really need to make each minute count and do what we are passionate about. I hope you’ll join me in this journey!
To Your Health!
